What happens after I purchase a domain name on 88.broker?
After you purchase a domain name, you will receive a confirmation email of this purchase. Via this email we will also share with you a link that you will need to follow to download your logo assets, and your invoice. On this page you will also be able to provide us with the name of your preferred registrar (i.e. where you’d like your newly purchased domain name transferred).
Once we have the above information, either the seller (or us) will unlock the domain name for you, and prepare it for transfer to your registrar. As soon as this steps is completed, you will receive an email with the next steps that you should take.
The steps that follow are dependant on what registrar you choose the domain name to be transferred to, e.g. if a domain name you purchased is hosted with Bluehost, and your registrar is also Bluehost, we will only ask you for your Bluehost username to transfer it to you (you would then receive the name within minutes). If your registrar is different to where the name you purchased is currently with, we will ask you for more information (all to make sure the transfer is secure).

A domain name registrar is a place where you can host your domain name. We recommend checking out either Bluehost, Godaddy, Namesilo or Google Domains for your domain name hosting.
After I purchase a domain name, how quickly will it be transferred to my registrar?
To make sure the transfer is very quick, we recommend you have your domain name transferred to the same registrar it is currently with. It then usually takes less than a day to have the name with you. If, however, your registrar is different to the sending registrar, it might take up to 5 days.
